It’s essential that you do not let the softened guard fold on itself so that the material does not glue together, making it difficult to reshape.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cspan\u003eBalancing the pliable mouthguard with your thumbs, tilt your head back and open your mouth wide. Using a mirror, insert the mouthguard and bite down gently on the solid bar in the middle of the SISU – just enough to keep the guard in place.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cspan\u003ePress your tongue to the roof of your mouth while flipping up the softened material to your front teeth. It's very important not to seal it so tightly that it becomes difficult to remove. Before placing the mouthguard into your mouth for shaping, take a piece of aluminum foil or dental wax and shape it to your teeth in the same way as you will shape the soft mouthguard.
